Gainesville weather is like this election – unpredictable.
First I biked to my morning ethics exam in long underwear and two sweatshirts. By noon I was sweating in just pants and a T-shirt, so I changed into my bathing suit – just for kicks, not to swim or sun. However I must have looked strange as I rode to my mid-afternoon class under a dark and ominous sky. The temperature dropped suddenly, and the rain clouds let go.
This weather of change indirectly inspired me to create this blog… and maintain it.
With less than two months left at UF, I face the biggest change of my life: no more school, no more books, no more teachers’ dirty looks.
And no job.
I face the real world. It’s changing every day, especially the journalism industry.
With all the change in my life now, I’m at the point where I have so much to say. I will feature these next two crazy months in this blog, as well as into my job search. My postings will have variety, ranging from journalism and the news to my classes, graduation and hectic schedule.
And if I finally find that newspaper job in the real world, don’t worry – I’ll keep blogging.
