I never updated my last post with the link to the big story I’ve been working on because it didn’t print in today’s edition of The Fort Pierce Tribune. After adding in some extra information, my editor let me know she though it was a good story. It will run on A1 of Friday’s newspaper.

This is the most I’ve been paid for a story, and this is the first time the words of my story are on the homepage of TCPalm. Needless to say, I’m feeling good, especially when my editor e-mailed me with “you rock!”
It’s bittersweet that the assignment she gave me for the wedding story on July 4 fell through. I love to work, but I’m looking forward to some fun with freedom.
